Overgrowth

Overgrowth is a new and ongoing artistic collaboration between photographer Parker Fitzgerald and floral designer Riley Messina. Inspired by a  beauty, Riley combines classicall botanical designs with Parker’s carefully considered film images in an expression of the  relationship between humankind and nature.

BITE IT! by Clem Chen

This bike seat sculpture, titled ‘Bite It’ was constructed from plastic, acrylic, spray paint and epoxy by Vancouver-based artist Clem Chen. The work was originally created for the Hot Art Wet City gallery in Vancouver, BC as a part of the ‘Saddle-Up’ show where local artists were given used bike seats to reinterpret, modify and decorate. Recently, this piece became finalist for a Designboom competition, the ‘ASIA AWARDS 2013′

LIFE-SIZE ELEPHANT made out of paper

The origami artist Sipho Mabona created a life-sized elephant made of a 15 square meters sheet of paper. The finished work weighs  250 kilograms and is just over 3 meters high.

David Sykes is a successful advertising photographer who works regularly for notable clients including Visa, Persil, Lurpak, Heinz, Hellmann’s, BT, American Express, Starbucks, Honda and Monocle Magazine. He developed an aesthetic  dinner scene without any hint of real food, but in which every given object plays a significant role.
