Was designed by Alts Design Office to mimic the building’s gabled profile. The architects chose to emphasize this characteristic shape by creating doorways, windows and shelving units that all share similar proportions.
Overgrowth
Overgrowth is a new and ongoing artistic collaboration between photographer Parker Fitzgerald and floral designer Riley Messina. Inspired by a beauty, Riley combines classicall botanical designs with Parker’s carefully considered film images in an expression of the relationship between humankind and nature.
BITE IT! by Clem Chen
This bike seat sculpture, titled ‘Bite It’ was constructed from plastic, acrylic, spray paint and epoxy by Vancouver-based artist Clem Chen. The work was originally created for the Hot Art Wet City gallery in Vancouver, BC as a part of the ‘Saddle-Up’ show where local artists were given used bike seats to reinterpret, modify and decorate. Recently, this piece became finalist for a Designboom competition, the ‘ASIA AWARDS 2013′
